A compilation album by Tompkins Square Records that presents several current guitarists who are playing in ways influenced by the great Takoma artists John Fahey and Robbie Basho.
Alone among the guitarists on the album, I play in the raga style first created by Basho, with whom I studied in 1968 and later opened for several times.
Chuck is originally from North Carolina, and grew up musically on Elizabeth Cotton's playing. It is easy to feel these roots, and more, as there are echoes back into Scotland and England Richard Osborn
